3 things you can do to prepare for your appointment with Purey Polished.
1. Find a space in your home that you wish to be used for your manicure or pedicure.
When you book a mobile nail technician to come to your home, we bring the salon to you including products, towels, tools and kits. All we ask is for a space to set up, and ensure you’re comfortable to be serviced in that chosen spot.
When booking a manicure, find a space with a table and 2 chairs for your Purely Polished Nail Technician to set up. If your table is too wide, our teamwork on the corners of the table for closer access to your hands!
When booking a pedicure, find a space where you feel most comfortable. Whether it’s the couch or by the table on a dining chair, it’s all up to you! if your appointment is inclusive of a foot soak, ensure that there is enough space for our team to set up in!
My house is very small with no real space to feel pampered. What do I do?
As long as your comfortable, that’s all that matters to us. The Purely Polished team are used to working standing up on models at busy fashion shows, sitting around a mothers group on the floor, painting nails.
Our level of luxury stems through the luxury of comfort in your own home, which is different from the luxury pamper experience you would get in a salon.
Is a coffee table okay for a professional to service a manicure on?
Yep! We can sit on the floor with you, or lean over the table depending on comfort and ergonomics.
Can I get a pedicure on the couch?
Yes you can. As long as you can sit comfortably with your feet soaking in the bowl, the world’s your oyster.
Can I get a manicure outside in the backyard?
- Yes you can!
Our professionals are adaptable to work in any space! If you’re unsure of where is best to set up, we will go through the options with you upon arrival.
2. Check that you’ve added your special requests and requirements into your booking order.
With being a mobile service, please ensure that you have added the correct details for your booking. Whether you have:
Gel shellac nails that need removal,
Wanting nail art designs
Have children to check in on during the appointment
Dry hands that are sensitive and sore
Live on the 5th storey, with no elevators only stairs
Have little or no mobility.

3. Other things we will need…
The only thing we really need is access to a tap to get water for your hand/foot soak! Whether you’re getting a mani-pedi, a manicure or a pedicure, our nail services all come with a soak (excluding express services) where we will need access to a tap to fill up our bowls.
Each of our nail technicians follow a standard Purely Polished mobile nail experience process, however, they may request additional things like access to a powerpoint or the microwave to heat products to provide you with a bespoke experience.
This is why we have introduced the ‘rebook’ functionality with your Beauty & Wellness Professional, keeping consistency and maintaining relationships with a professional you love!
