5 Things We’re Bringing Out Of Lockdown.

We're back with our second read for our “Ditch Your Basic Lockdown Guide” series. This time we're here to focus around growth - and how to find perspective right now, for future you to thank you for:
Self-reflection Edition.

Self-reflection Edition.

Pamper Dad with an at home spa day. Our DIY Face Masks for you bumble bee’s at home is a perfect way to get creative, get messy and have fun in an organic, natural (and edible) way! With colour and texture - bowls and mix mash action, get messy this father’s day with face masks for the whole family to enjoy together!

Our two natural and ‘edible’ face masks:

#2 Embrace your inner child.

The power of PLAY is essential for adults to dig deep into humility, happiness and lightness to life.

Embrace dad’s inner child with different play activities this year for Father’s Day in Lockdown! From building lego, taking a trip down memory lane to primary school science classes and make a baking soda volcano. Make dad’s favourite ice cream in the day to pair with your chocolate fondue for dinner! If he’s a music-loving dad, play his favourite artists over the speakers and dance, sing and jump around!

#3 Dig a little deeper this Father’s Day…

For the kids who are a little bit older… perfect with alcohol and you only need dining table.. if you have not heard about “we’re not really strangers”, - it is a 2021 phenomenon card game crafted into levels of questions to deepen your existing relationships and awareness of each other. Perfect to get a little closer with the family - find out stories and get to know your dad this year. Relationships and connectivity is a pillar of Purely Polished of which we truly want to embrace within the community. We’re here to connect individuals together to better grow the community and what better way to start within the people of your own home!

The we’re not really strangers game consists of three different levels.

  • Level 1: Perception. We all make assumptions about each other but how often do we ever put them to the test? Level 1 allows you to see what first impression you give off and how well you read others..

  • Level 2: Connection. This level digs a bit deeper. 50 rarely asked questions, but warning emotions may arise.

  • Level 3: Reflection. Time to reflect.

The game is only an idea - but come up with your own, and even make a creative PowerPoint for it to get the whole family in the mood! New and different - with nothing but time on our hands with lockdown in Australia. Why not!?
